I plant join the military after i get accepted to dental school.**but my concern is thatI am going to have braces for my teeth on septCan I join the military with my braces still on?Another thing is that my orthodontist is goingto take out 4 teeth in my mouth because it's too crowded.**I heard something about that one hasto have a certain number of teeth in order to join. It might relates to physical health or something like thatIs this true or or not??

It might relates to physical health or something like thatIs this true or or not?? I don't know about the number of teeth you *have* to have, but I know you cannot go through bootcamp with braces on. You can probably get into a DEP until they are off, but you absolutely cannot go to RTC with your braces on. It can cause serious injuries. I would ask a recruiter about the teeth requirement. It sounds shaky to me. I would think as long as your mouth is full, you will be okay. We're all different, after all. :) -zs
