I'm getting ready to take a voluntary PT run to enlist, and I'm a little nervous.**I've never done too well when it comes to the run.**I need some pointers on some things.**I am afraid of failure, especially at this point.**Does anyone have any pointers on how to get over the fear of failure, on how to get over stage fright, and how to breathe, and take my mind off the discomfort of running?

(By the way, after using this work up, I passed my last PRT with an excellent, and I'm aiming for an outstanding for the next one).**Good luck!****

Thanks for your quick reply.**Unfortunately, I don't have several weeks anymore.**I have to take the PRT before the end of this month (within the next week or so).**My recruiter has offered to run with me in the mornings, but I'm not so sure that would be the best option for me.**I have also hooked up with a marathon runner, and he has offered to "train" me, and help me along with my pacing, etc.**If you have any other suggestions, please let me know, otherwise e-mail me at JAD_DOYLE@yahoo.com.**I would love to hear about your experiences in the Navy.**I'm looking forward to my enlistment, and want it more than anything in the world (except of course more than a successful marriage with my husband, and a happy family in the future).**I feel that the Navy is the best option for me, and I feel it's the only option for me to have a successful future.**Not that I'm upset or anything!**Thanks again for your response!
