Thank you for the opportunity of leaving this message. My question is, I am five feet four inches and weight about 190 pounds.**The thing is I don't look either one of these measurements.**I have been pondering the thought of entering the Corps, for quite some time now.**But when I went and spoke to a recruiter, she told me I didn't meet their ideal weight.**All I could do was try and see how fast I could loose forty ninepounds, and return when I had.**Is this fair?**I have heard and have been told that some male Marines, do enterthe Corps with a few extra pounds.**But while in Boot Campare put on diets which enable then to become the ideal weight.Anyways I am trying very hard to loose the weight.**I an runningalmost everyday.**Trying to be very disciplined and and wishing as hard as I can that this somes true for me before the year is over.I hope you can just give me a little advise onwhat I can do.**Knowing that women can make as much a difference asme.**Is what keeps me going, because I wans to be,THE FEW THE PROUD a female Marine!
