I have seriously been thinking about joining the Marines. My brother is a 2nd Lt. in the Marines. He graduated from OCS a year ago. He has really encouarged me to join, but I would rather enlist. I have already talked to recruiters, but so far that is all I have done. I get motivated and excited about joining when my brother talks to me about it, but then I get scared. I worry about being a good Marine and about sexual harassment etc.. I have a lot of weight to lose also. How do I stay motivated and encouraged? I could use some good motivational tips. Also, I would like to talk and stay in touch with other females also considering joining.
Thanks, Jo

: Thanks, Jo Jo: I was in USWMC back when things were really rough, "Know What" I Loved it and still do. That was in 1961 be true to your feelings and you will stay motivated. After all these years I am still proud to bear the title of US Marine and my pride has never dulled. I only served a year as bck in those days if you got married or pregnant you were immediate history, so I did both and left with a heavy heart but pride in the Marines will never diminish. Penny
