I am 20 years old and married and am thinking about joining the military.**Ihave a BS in Respiratory Therapy and an AS in Respiratory Therapy.**Iconsidered the Air Force Academy in high school.**The USAFA recruiter arrangedfor me to attend the USAFA Summer Scientific Seminar to get a taste of what itwas like.**I loved it, but I was not mentally prepared to make a commitmentlike that.**Now the military seems like a great idea for me.**My husband isabout to finish nursing school, but it is a diploma program (RN) and the AirForce only accepts BSN.**He is excited about the military and is ready toenlist.**I talked to a Health Professions recruiter but he said there were noopenings for respiratory and that they didn't come open a lot.**He gave me thename of an officer recruiter and I called about a week ago and I have yet tohear back from him.**I was wondering if anybody could give me some adviceabout what kind of things to ask about or possibly my different opportunitieswith my degree.**Any information would be helpful. Thanks,Stephanie, e-mail: StephSigK@aol.com

I finally got a hold of another rucruiter that seemed very nice on the phone. We have spoke three times now and he is coming up tomorrow around two oclock..So I am getting the house squeaky clean :)**I have been told that they are overloaded with nurses so my hubbi may go in first since they are in need of police officers.**Possibly in 4 years or less their will be**a need for us medical people.**Good luck to you..By the way I am**22yrs married with two beautiful children:)
