: I AM REALLY INTERESTED IN JOINING THE AIRFORCE,BUT THE PROBLEM IS I ONLY HAD MY GED. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO COLLEGE FOR THE PAST YEAR AND I WANTED TO KNOW DOES HAVING THESE CREDITS HELP MY CHANCES OF GETTING IN OR AM I JUST DREAMING.**I'VE TALKED TO A RECRUITER AND HE DIDN'T REALLY TELL ME IF I COULD GET IN OR NOT.

I also have a GED and I have recently started the process of enlistment. You can get into the Air Force if you achieve a 65 or higher on the ASVAB. Other branches may have different policies. I'm not sure about the college credits, but if you contact a recruiter, I'm sure that he/she will be able to assist you. If you are not satisfied with the help you received from the recruiter you spoke with, request assistance from another recruiter in your local office. I wish you luck! :D

We work GEDs, but the problem is we don't take in a whole lot of them. Timing is everything with GEDs. Ask your local recruiter when they will take GEDs again.
