I'm 29, single mother, I have my son taken care of to allow me to attend boot and any obligations I will have, but I would prefer to be in the AF or AFR, I know that I just barely make it for ANG, but don't know if I do for AF/R.**All emails sent to local recruiters are not returned.**I have been in contact with the ANG recruiter.**I have one sem. of ROTC, but had to stop when I got pregnant, then ...well same old story, What are my avenues, I'm serious about this and want serious answers.**I'm a bit partial to the AF,; but i'm getting to the point that if the Army would take me I'd go that route, NG's ok, but I want to serve full time. (it has less to do with benefits, which isn't much, I can make more out here, and everything to do with, its a way of life i live now and want to associate with others who do as well.)

I'm not a recruiter I have just researched this all my self. As a single mother you can't enlist unless you sign your child over to someone else.**The AF for active duty cut off age is 27 for the reserves I'm not quite sure.**I know any branch won't allow single parents to enlist you would have to sign your child over to someone.**As for the cut off age for Army I don't know.** And go talk to to the recruiter in person other than e-mail that way you can get more to the point and get the answers you want in person... GOOD LUCK...: I'm 29, single mother, I have my son taken care of to allow me to attend boot and any obligations I will have, but I would prefer to be in the AF or AFR, I know that I just barely make it for ANG, but don't know if I do for AF/R.**All emails sent to local recruiters are not returned.**I have been in contact with the ANG recruiter.**I have one sem. of ROTC, but had to stop when I got pregnant, then ...well same old story, What are my avenues, I'm serious about this and want serious answers.**I'm a bit partial to the AF,; but i'm getting to the point that if the Army would take me I'd go that route, NG's ok, but I want to serve full time.
