I'm currently a cadet in the AFROTC, and I seriously want to become a pilot. I was just wondering if there are any female pilots (I know there are relatively few) who could possibly share some of their insights as why they wanted to become a pilot, what the drawbacks and tradeoffs are, and if you encountered any obstacles or opposition.

I am currently a cadet in Civil Air Patrol,an auxiliary of the Air Force, and soloed last summer in a C-152 through CAP. It is a great way to get experiance for a fraction of the cost while investigating military possibilities. Monroe, WA age 19
