your period in bootcamp

I was wondering what about your period how is that taken care of in boot camp.

They allow you to buy feminine products, and have them there for you when you first arrive. You will have a supply locker that you keep them in, and you are allowed to take some and put it in your foot locker. They also suggest you go on birth control...obviously not to prevent pregnancy but to know when your period is coming. My period is irregular and birth control helped me know when my period was coming.

If you're lucky the same will happen to you that happened to me. I had mine the day I left to go to PI - I kept it for about 2 days and then my body just cut it off for the rest of my time there. It was explained to me at Medical that my body was going through changes because of the exercise (that I wasn't used to) and stress so it was doing me a favor and turning it off. I didn't start again until I was riding out the front gate to go home. My home town is only 3 1/2 to 4 hours from PI and I had started by the time I got home. Really! It was the weirdest thing! But, don't worry if your body doesn't turn it off itself - the DIs are female too so it's not like they won't understand.
