: How and where do I go and can I do it on the internet to acquire a copy of my DD214 if I served in the WACS in 1963?=======================Reply to Renee:I tried to e-mail you and it came back to me...Hello Renee:you can go to the local employment office to the Veterans unit and they will direct you to the address for getting a copy of your DD214...another place is your state veterans representative.. look in the phone book under government, city or county vet services...I don't know where you are from except your address says voaoregon.. I am in Spokane, WA..Also call the local VA hospital for forms or info. they are real helpfulhere at the VA...also you can get registered for services with the VA...When you get your copy take it to the local court house and get it put on file .. It doesn't cost anything. they will put it on microfiche and youcan get certified copies for employment etc. so incase you lose it again. I don't think you can do the forms on the internet but I can give you the web address for the VA.www.va.gov/then go to special programs and look for women veterans pageThis is from the application pagewww.va.gov/womenvet/application.htm"When you file a claim with VA, or request VA medical care for the firsttime, you should always take a copy of your military service discharge form (DD Form 214) with you. This form documents your service dates and type of discharge and provides your full name, military service number, branch and dates of service. If you do not have your DD Form 214, or you have lost it, you may still apply for VA benefits and services. VA will try to obtainservice verification on your behalf. VA may request additional information
