Hi I know that I want to join the army whether i go to college or not. The fact is though that joining is all the more appealing then college because of my parents. The way things are with them now**is almost too much to bear. If i were to join what are the chances of my ever really receiving a colleg education?? Im not sure what i should do. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it thanks.

Joining the military is something only you can decide, but from what your message implied, you probably won't be all that happy living at home for another 4 years while attending college.**It's worth your while to speak to a recruiter about the possibility of getting your college education paid for down the line.**I got a 4 year degree then went back for a 2 year diploma but I'm about to join myself because after all of that time and all of that hard work I STILL can't find a decent job.**I've always wanted to join and now wish that I had done it right out of high school because then I wouldn't also have the giant student loans to pay off!

: Your chances of receiving a college education are great in the military.**Besides your job training that you receive, you also learn new job skills in a job that you choose.**Getting away from your parents is not a reason to join the military.**Having the desire to learn about military life and serving your country are important things too.**Make sure that you think things though fully if you still decide to join.**Just don't let that decision be based on your parents.** If you want more info on military life, please e-mail me and I will be happy to tell you more.

Why don't you check out schools that offer an ROTC Program? Not only does it help pay for college, but during your summer breaks, you attend basic training, and everything else the Army has to offer.**This way, not only do you ensure to recieve you education, but you get a taste of what the military life is all about.**Once you graduate from college you can receive a commission.**If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me directly.
